Splendid 14-15th century parish church; a cathedral since 1882. Magnificent crown-like lantern spire on top of west tower. Memorials include colourful one to Maddison family, couple who lived "lovingly and comfortably together" for forty years, with ten sons (all of whom reached adulthood) and six daughters.
