Very straightforward ride from St Paul's thanks to St Ken Livingstone's Congestion Charge (bikes exempt). Pulled on to paved area ("piazza" - very catholic-sounding term) in front of cathedral for photo, then parked up against west wall. Bad idea - got a parking ticket from Westminster City Council! Extraordinary edifice; must have been truly revolutionary when first built (1903). Red and yellow bricks giving appearance not unlike corned beef, with tall, slender bell tower.
